This one is still open and probably isn't too difficult... patches
accepted, of course :)

BTW, as mentioned in the ticket, if you're about to set your default
encoding you can work around the problem right now.

Edit it in UTF8 and save then should work -- at least I have no problem.

No, I think the problem lay on the part of kid template system.
I mean it can't replace double-byte chars correctly.
