Hey Florent, this is weird. I have verified that I have only one
tg-admin, no extra in local/bin. When I run
$ tg-admin
In the shell, I get the usage message for tg-admin 1.0.6
But when I do $ tg-admin quickstart, still the old model.
Would anything cause a different tg-admin or components to get used on

Sorry, I thought the pgdump was included in GeoGrid project folder. I
am attaching it here and I will add it in project_code too.

I will put the code for the demos in the repo soon. But tg.ext.geo is
in tgtools (like tg.ext.repoze.who). Do we have to move the code from
there to turbogears repo? Can't buildbot check the code out from there
and try the build? Am I getting it right?

I will add them in the svn as Mark suggested. In the mean time, I have
uploaded all my work to Google Summer of Code Download site for
TurboGears (as required by Google for all GSoC projects) and you can

If we intent to have those applications working with the next TG2
release, I'd like to see their code in our repos and the BuildBot
monitor them to make sure they start and run properly with the next
changes in TG2 code.
For the demo in themselves if we want to have live running apps we
could always host them on the new machine we have.

Agreed. But if there were some TG2 alpha users on 2.4, I wanted to
try to accomodate them ;)
And Diez has already fixed trunk, so the long term fix is in place.

Yea, seems like a good idea to me. Feel free to stick it in
project_code and use Bruno's special little command to create and link
up the zip file from svn.
An example of it's use is at the bottom of the wiki20 restructured text file.

Well after testing I confirm that it works without error here. I
suspect you have an old "tg-admin" somewhere in you path that was used
instead of the new one.
Maybe a tg-admin installed by your Linux distribution that is in
/usr/sbin and you new easy_installed one in /usr/bin or something
similar...

Hi folks, I just easy_installed up to TG 1.0.6. I have SA 0.4.3
installed, and a python shell importing SA definitely is getting that
version.
Now quickstarted projects with identity are producing old sa 0.3 code,
with assign mapper and session.context.
Anyone know what happened? Is there something that could be amiss on my

There probably aren't that many people using Turbogears 2.0 at this
point on Python 2.4, so I think it's fine for those few users to make
the changes that I described. However, I do think that it is
important to support Python 2.4 in Turbogears 2.0 in general, as there
are various Linux distributions that come with Python 2.4.

Sorry. I'm new here, and I wrongly assumed that the docs wiki was
just for end-user documentation. Digging deeper, I see that there are
also design/process docs there. As Mark notes, it is easier to link
to tickets, etc. in the trac wiki, but it's not a big deal - just
longer urls in the docs wiki.
