Create a "top 10 posts" based on Likes or Reblogs?

Hello,

Is it possible to create an automatic ranking of my Tumblr blog posts according to the number of Likes and/or Reblogs they got?

Yes! But it's very difficult and problematic because it must load all the posts created by the user and cause "We're Sorry": (((((((((

Thanks for the answer. It seems weird that this feature wasn't developed into a widget yet, or simplified in the API. It looks to me as a basic requirement for a Tumblr blog...

I have a sort of "API middleman" server set up, that downloads & caches Tumblr user posts, to collect statistics such as you're looking for. I don't have a "10 top" widget developed, but if you would be interested in collaborating on one, I'd be game.  Like I said, I have a server-side backend set up already that could feed the required data with a Javascript or JSONP call.

Your solution seems interesting, but unfortunately I don't know much about coding in Javascript/JSONP...
And how does this would work with a Tumblr blog?
