I know the API specifies you can only fetch 20 "blog posts" at a time,
However my Apps have been fetching 200, 500 or more posts with one call for several months now with no problem, until a few hours ago, when this stopped working.

Any idea what's going on?  Any plans to let us continue to fetch > 20 posts again?   This just broke a whole bunch of my apps and I'm getting a lot of angry emails :)

I'll correct myself a little:
Fetching up to 50 "blog" posts works.

But I had been fetching 200, 500 etc. previously with no problems.

Hey Felix,

Unfortunately, this was a bug that I caught going through an audit of the codebase. The pagination and limits were supposed to work exactly like our dashboard requests, which would limit you at an upper bound of 50 posts. Anything beyond would drop you back down to 20. This is for server and request performance. My apologies for not informing the list immediately once these changes were out.

I'm going to work on making sure that subtleties like pagination are documented and that communication is improved between the developers and Tumblr engineering when these type of changes go out. Please feel free to email me off list with any ideas.

Thanks!
