looks like you guys rolled out a new UI for tumblr that's showing up
in oauth login flows, except when a user logs in they no longer get a
"allow app" screen. they just get their regular tumblr dashboard view.

It's working fine for me, at this moment. Just did a few tests.

redirecting to dashboard on ipad for past few hours.

If I had an iPad, I'd test that out - but I don't. Sorry!

we have several users reporting the bug to us as well, so definitely
not a local setup or code change issue.

are you using xauth? we're using oauth, havent had this problem before
and the same code has worked for more than 6 months.

I just tested it from our Android app. We are having the same problem. Drops us into the dashboard after the login.

Sounds like y'all will just have to wait till morning for someone to fix it.

OAuth flow is working OK through conventional desktop browsers, from my end.

To be clear, we are using OAuth in a mobile application. After entering our username and password we are dropped into our dashboard. The correct behavior should take us to the "Allow App" page.

@mrjason Have you attempted to contact Tumblr? I think that we are in a similar situation; by morning time we could have user complaints and negative app ratings:(

Is it only Tablet devices? We tested out our integration with flipboard (which was broken), rolled back a change and it worked fine.

Just tested  mobile and tablet; It appears to be resolved. I am going run another cycle of testing from a clean install/browser.

As an aside, do you recommend that mobile apps use xauth? If so, what is the criteria for approval?

Thanks.

Hey all,

We just did a deploy. Can you tell me if you're still having the same problems?
