Hey everybody! ;)

It's really interesting for me to hear many opinions about how do you
imagine ladies in martial arts?

How should she look to her art?Should girls point of view be different
from a guys point of view and why/why not?How should she look like and
act in the dojo and in everyday life? What are the hardest things for
girls in martial arts?

And questions for martial arts teachers and and martial arts teachers
wannabe - what is the main differences between man teacher and woman
teacher? What pedagogic methods should girl use and what she should't
use? What methods should girl use to gain authority in her martial arts
class between different age categories - childrens, teenagers, adults?

So..What do you think? ;)

The differences between male and female instructors?? Hmm, well, in my
martial art, which is traditional wushu (concentrating on Ba gua
zhang) there don't seem to be many female instructors - i guess 'cause
of the tradition factor, although this can only change in the future.
The one female Wushu instructor i have seen is truly awesome - trust
me, there would be no need for her to "gain authority", as you put it,
as her skill and endurance alone demand respect.

I've been doing Ba gua now for 5 years and i've never seen the need to
act differently to the guys in the dojo... oh alright then, maybe not
going shirtless during training then! The most annoying thing i find
is blokes holding back in partner work and sparring... how the hell
are you supposed to figure out what works and what doesn't if you are
not convincingly attacked? But i find if you attack them properly they
soon catch on! :-)

Best thing about being a women in the dojo? Not being able to rely on
yr strength to muscle through an application - you become better for
it 'cause you have to get yr techniques exactly right to make them
work!
