Cocoon Free = FREE cavity wall insulation and FREE loft insulation

Our Friends at the United Sustainable Energy organisation have launched “Cocoon Free”: Cocoon is now able to offer cavity wall and loft insulation for free to householders in Great Britain. Whether you own your home or rent it privately, you could be eligible to have your home insulated for free, saving you £s on your energy bills. This is a time limited offer on a first come-first served basis. It ends at the end of September this year. This offer will be available to all home owners and private renters, both priority group and able to pay.
I enclose the Press Release that have the details. The TTHW Energy Group will be promoting this online and at our outreach activities through the summer. Please get the word out: not £99, not £49, but FREE! When its gone it is gone.

The offer is:
-£0 for standard cavity wall insulation
-£0 for standard loft insulation, max 60mm pre-existing
-£159 for standard loft insulation, more than 60mm pre-existing (or at the fixed cost, where in existence in the local authority region).
Please note that the same restrictions for maximum pre-existing levels of loft insulation apply for other offers out there as well.
This offer will be available to all home owners and private renters, both priority group and able to pay. The usual caveats apply – excess sqm, scaffolding, access difficulties etc. Core vents are free of charge if needed.
