Good morning,
I am a PhD student at Keele University in UK. My research is about modelling monetary policy using regime-switching models (LSTAR,  ESTAR ). I would like to know if i can get help to learn how this can be done in R. I am actually learning how to use R. is there any package to by that explain step by step the mdelling processing in R. (Specification, Estimation and Evaluation + forecastion). Please help.

Dear Gohou

To learn about R, the best thing is to take any tutorial and read and practice! For the tsDyn package itself, you will find a documentation at:
http://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/tsDyn/vignettes/tsDyn.pdf

which will show how to run the different models, and compare them... If any question arise while reading the documentation, feel free to ask!

Best

Matthieu
