TSAS Community Meeting: The University of Tulsa has graciously allowed us the use of the Allen Chapman Activity Center next Wednesday night for a community wide meeting. You are invited to an informational meeting at 6:00pm on Wednesday, September 12th. We will be discussing the journey ahead and sharing useful information that will allow us to coordinate our recovery efforts. Details will be available soon about parking on campus for this event.
Transportation: Our change of location does create some transportation concerns for some students. Families that would like to carpool can contact Dana Vogel at (918)855-0033 or feisty...@yahoo.com. Send her your nearest street intersections (such as 61st and Memorial) and if you need a ride, can offer a ride, what days, and if the rides are before or after school. She will be working to connect students with transportation.
Parking: The Sequoyah building has limited parking spaces. We are working quickly to install a gravel parking lot to increase the parking capacity to meet our needs. Until then, students are encouraged to carpool to reduce the numbers of cars in need of parking spots. Those students and teachers who are parking on the streets should be mindful of all street signs that prohibit parking. We want to be good neighbors.
Rebuilding Special Ed Files: Parents of students with an IEP are asked to send an email to our Counselor, Mary Hawkins at mhaw...@tsas.org. Please email us your student's name and indicate they have an existing IEP and we will begin this rebuilding process.
We will be discussing the journey ahead and sharing useful information that will allow us to coordinate our recovery efforts.
