3) Mrs. Ingram is still accepting sign ups for the practice ACT given here at TSAS this Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. Cost is $5. You need to prepay by tomorrow. Spend an awesome Saturday morning with Ingram and Waller! What fun! The good news is you will have two days to recover since we are out of school on Monday.
4) Team Rocket WILL meet this Thursday at the YMCA @ 7:40. Be ready to run!
5) Don't forget to order your planner from the History Club. Go to Room 204 to order one. Cost is $5.00. Time is running out so order yours today!
6) If you are interested in engineering technology or another tech - based program, Pittsburg State would like for you to visit their highly ranked program. We would have to register by Tuesday, Sept. 7th, so see Ms. Waller asap. The program is geared for sophomores and juniors, but seniors may go also.
7) Rock climbing begins next Wednesday (Sept. 8)! If you have never climbed before and want to learn, here is your chance. We will climb at New Heights Rock Climbing Gym every Wednesday after school. Each session lasts six weeks and costs $60. This price includes a class where you will learn everything you need to know to climb safely, climbing equipment, and two hours of climbing time. 9) Sunday, September 12th is the annual College Connection at the Expo Square from 1:00 to 4:00. This is probably the last time you can visit with a large group of colleges in one place. Please be there.
10) Karen Chen from the University of Tulsa will be here at 1:00 on Tuesday, Oct. 7th. Seniors, please sign up in the counselor's office if you would like to hear about TU. See a calendar that lists the upcoming college visits in the counselor's office.
