Upcoming Events:

• Board of Trustees Meeting: Tuesday, May 14, 5:30-7:00 pm

Student Announcements:

1)  Key Club will be having a swim suit drive for the Laura Dester Shelter. We would love new or gently used swim suits. There will be a box in the front hall way.  Also Key club meeting during  lunch this Thursday in Madame Doss's room.

2)  Tickets for Beauty and the Beast are now on sale in the fishbowl/office!  Don't wait to stand in line at the oh-so-small theatre lobby when you can buy them in advance here.  Shows are May 18th & 19th at the Tulsa Little Theatre, 1511 S. Delaware. Tickets are $10.00 for students and seniors, 65 & over and under 3 are free.  All others are $12.00.  Bringing the right change is probably a good idea.  More Info is posted around the school or ask any performer.  Hope to see you there!

    

3)  Yearbooks are on sale in the office. Cost is $45, cash or check.

4)  Today's lunch offerings include Jamaican Jerk Chicken or turkey/salami wrap.  Tomorrow's offerings include baked ziti or chicken salad pita.  

5)  It is time to build your schedule for the 2013-14 academic year. Current TSAS students who will be Sophomores, Juniors or Seniors next year are asked to stop by the main office to reserve your individual scheduling appointment.  Check in the office for details.  Also, be sure you write down your appointment time!  TSAS will NOT be sending out individual reminders.  

6)  Do you want to be a leader? Do you want to find out how you can make a difference in your community? Do you want to meet students from other high schools, share ideas and have some fun too? Well listen up because you could be a part of Youth Leadership Forum. Youth Leadership Forum is a dynamic, hands-on program that brings together teens from all over the Tulsa area to enhance their leadership skills and engage them in philanthropy. The program runs from September through April, and sessions are for one full day each month. Students who are currently in the 9th or 10th grade are eligible to apply. Application deadline is May 31, 2013. Applications can be picked up in the front office and they are also available at www.yst.org.

7)  Students interested in ACT help should check out the link included in this version of announcements/TSAS Notes.  NSU is offering a three-night test prep program before all upcoming national ACT test dates.
