• 2013-14 Senior Student Enrollment Sessions (by appointment): Thursday, May 23, 5:00-7:00 pm
• No School - Memorial Day:  Monday, May 27
• 2013-14 Senior Student Enrollment Sessions (by appointment): Tuesday, May 28, 5:00-7:00 pm
• Last day of school:  Thursday, May 30
• Graduation:  Thursday, May 30:  TCC Southeast Campus, VanTrease PAC,7:30-9:00 pm

Student Announcements:

1)  Seniors, there will be a meeting today in Ellen's room at high noon. This will probably be the last senior meeting of your life!  We need to decide what to do with our money.

2)  Speech and Debate will meet today at lunch in Mrs. Hughes's room to discuss the Voice of Democracy Speech Competition for the 2013-2014 school year.  All are welcome to attend to learn about this scholarship opportunity.  For more information visit http://www.vfw.org/Community/Voice-of-Democracy/ or just type in voice of democracy in Google and click the first link. 

3)  NHS will meet today at lunch in Stallings's room to elect officers for next year.  

4)  Asher's advisory will have a MANDATORY meeting at lunch today in room 5, immediately following the senior meeting.  This is a VERY IMPORTANT meeting to nail down final details for field day tomorrow.  If you do not show up Asher will have a gypsy crone put an eternal curse on you.

5)  During field day tomorrow Asher's advisory group will be putting on the first ever TSAS Advisory games!  Starting at 12:30 you will be able to test the strength of your mind and body against the other advisory groups in a battle to find the ULTIMATE ADVISORY.  Ask your advisory teacher where you will be meeting for your first death match.  And wear sneakers and comfy clothes to school tomorrow!  

6)  This Friday Julia Westbrook will be giving a presentation on her trip to Holocaust sites in Europe.  She will be presenting at the beginning of first and third hours in room 5.  Anyone is welcome to attend with teacher permission.

7)  There will NOT be a game club meeting after school on Thursday due to field day. In fact, there won't be another game club meeting this year. If you have any games on loan to the school, please come to Mr. Jones's room and take them home.

8)  Students!  Many of you have not stopped by the office to sign up for enrollment for the 2013-14 school year!!  If you will be a sophomore, junior, or senior next year, you need to stop by the office to reserve your individual scheduling appointment!  Also, be sure you write down your appointment time because TSAS will not be sending you a reminder! 

9)  Enrollment for next year's Seniors has begun.  Double-check your calendar to see when you scheduled you individualized class selection appointment. We will see you there.

10)  Yearbooks are on sale in the office. Cost is $45, cash or check.  Hurry to reserve yours for tomorrow's Field Day!

11)  The TSAS Orchestra will be performing tomorrow evening at Top That! Pizza (Tulsa Hills location, 7466 S. Olympia) from 5:00-9:00 pm to raise money for the PTSA.  Please come out to enjoy dinner and fine music with your family!

12)  Key Club Members! We still have our swim suit drive going on in the front hallway. If any of you have swim suits that are new or gently used, the Laura Dester Shelter would greatly appreciate it. Even if you are not in Key Club, you can still bring swimsuits to donate. We need as many as possible! 

13)  The final Key Club meeting of the school year will be this Friday in Madame Doss's room at lunch. Be sure to attend so we can set up our End-of-the-Year Social! 

14)  OML will meet this Friday in Mrs. Hughes's room at lunch.  Just a reminder to anyone applying for Camp Any Town, applications are due this week.

15)  Today's lunch choices include whole wheat pizza or ham and Swiss pita.  

16)  The deadline to sign up for the Galapagos Adventure with Profe Hahn and Ms. Block is May 31, 2013.  Go to www.explorica.com/Lewis-3207 to see further details regarding itinerary, price, and flexible payment plans to sign up.

17)  The TSAS Art Show is ongoing, through May 30, at the Alexandre Hogue Gallery, 5th and College Ave, University of Tulsa campus

19)  Reminder for Seniors:  

Graduation rehearsal is Wednesday, May 29 at 4:00 p.m. at TCC's PACE located at 81st and Highway 169.  We have a very limited time; please be on time.  Although you do NOT need to bring your cap and gown, ladies should bring the shoes they intend to wear--up and down the many stairs.  Practice makes perfect.....

20)  Attention Seniors:

Several Seniors left their caps and gowns in room 28 after the class picture was taken.  Not all have names on them.  Please pick them up immediately OR you will not have them for Graduation.  You MUST have your cap and gown to walk at graduation!
