Hello, Troop 246,

Yes it's that time of year again when we go place scouting for food bags on people's doors. According to the plan we will be meeting early on Monday November 16th at 5pm at the Olde Dater Inn on route 9 to deliver the bags.

For safety purposes please wear bright colored clothing/reflective gear. Korrey and I will meet you there with the bags, maps and signs.

If you prefer not to deliver the bags on November 16th; the alternate date is Saturday NOVEMBER 14th at 930am.(the Saturday before the regular scout meeting.) . For convenience, I will be at the Olde Dater Inn to sign out the maps, etc.

For parents/scouts the proceedures are as follows. Meet at the Inn, scouts sign in, SIGN OUT a map and takes an amount of bags he thinks will need, and a sign that states the date we will return to collect the food. Signs will be place at the entrance/corner of the street you are working on.

Once that map has been completed you return the map to me (Mrs. Meyers). We will need drivers, as well as adults to help distribute the bags. Folks this is a many hands effort.

I will send out another reminder later this week, in addition to the announcements during the meetin on Monday. PLEASE...let me know which date you will be delivering bags. My email is wis...@earthlink.net.

Hi guys

Wanted to give you a heads up about the meeting this Monday the 9th. We will be doing a firebuilding contest and making smores. The contest will test your knowledge about different scouting skills and teambuilding. Be ready to have some fun.

I also would like to have a PLC meeting this Wednesday night at 6pm. Please let me know if you cannot attend.
