Next Sunday, Feb 12, is gonna be a special running of the Green Springs 10 Miler.  Come on out and enjoy some fun mileage with us and, if you wanna bring something, we’ll have Breakfast in the Park afterwards!  If bringing food, please respond to this email with what you wanna bring so we don’t have too much of the same thing.  I’ll start:  Angie and I will bring scrambled eggs……….and chocolate milk for recovery!

Anybody feel ambitious enough to fire up the grill at the pavilion in the park?

Not ready for 10 miles?  That’s okay!  There are plenty of options to make shorter (or longer!) routes from the park.  Feel free to bring your buddies and do your own thing!

Run starts at 8 am, breakfast starts at 9:15.  And if we have leftovers we can share with the bums, stalkers, and pedophiles that frequent the park.  Phillip Rowan knows them all by name anyhow.

If anyone has connections to the Go Run and other running groups in Greenville, please forward this email and extend the invite!!!!

Thanks,

Bruce Richter

Not sure if you've seen this yet, but it looks like a good time. I've ridden most of this route before and most of it is really nice.

I'm in for at least the 70!

THIS IS A GREAT IDEA...come run and have your significant other bring food! You can even drop food off at our place on way to run and I can have vince keep it warm or heat just prior and bring. Vince says he can do the grill if someone will need it as well...we will bring shrimp and grits.

FUN! A start to season get together.

Smile,

Lizz

Bruce & Lizz,

You guys rock….. What a great idea.  Spend the year training for triathlons and then let your spouse cook breakfast on Sunday before Valentines.

But, seriously, thanks for reminding all of us….and DON’T anyone dare forget to do something special for the cooks next Tuesday.

John

I'll bring bananas, if that is ok.  You really don't want me to actually cook anything, I promise!

One last attempt at motivation for tomorrow’s special edition of the Green Springs 10 Miler……..I don’t know what makes it more of a special edition – the breakfast afterwards or the 24ish degrees it’s supposed to be in the morning.  But let’s just say it’s a great opportunity to earn some bragging rights just for showing up, there’s gonna be a LOT of great food, even with the temps there’s going to be a good group toughin’ it out, and ………really………can you beat the taste of a hot cup of coffee in really cold weather with visible steam coming off your head?!?

Hope to see you there, with or without food, ready to run, just wanna have some food with friends, or simply want to drive by soaking up the heat in your car so you can roll the window down and yell, “The windchill’s 9 degrees, you damn idiots!”

Details below if ya need ‘em!

See ya in the morning!

Bruce
