Subject: Police harassing tribals by name of criminal tribes act
In 1871 criminal tribes act was introduced by Birtish rulers in India.
Around 160 tribes were included in the list of criminal tribes as
marked as hereditary criminals. Generation changed and behavior of
those people also changed. Nowadays most of the people of those tribes
are doing agriculture and living decent life. But police did not stop
harassing people of those tribes by branding them as criminals. Police
are trapping people of those tribes into cases of dacoities which are
not related to them. Police are abusing innocent people by racial
hatred.
