I was reminded by a potential new member, and I wanted to remind you...

It's time again for our monthly "hack night" at TechShopRDU. Join your fellow Arduino hackers at 7pm on Monday, October 8. We have their conference room until they close at 10pm.

When: Monday, Oct 8, 7:00 PM         Where: TechShop RDU

What is an Arduino? See this link for more info: http://arduino.cc/...

Who is TriangleArduino? See this link for more info: http://trianglearduino.org/ ...
Note: website is currently down (both the server, and the hosted domain).  We are working on getting this back up again.

No prior experience is required to attend hack night and you don't even need to own an Arduino. There are plenty of members who will be glad to let you look over their shoulder and ask questions. Some will even hand you some parts and let you tinker. If you have your own parts, definitely bring them. There is lots of space and everyone should have room to work on a reasonably sized project.

If you would like to purchase an Arduino board or any number of other electronics, TechShop RDU has a select number of parts and kits available on site.  See their store list: http://wiki.techshoprdu.com/index.php?title=Retail_store#Electronics

If anyone has projects they'd like to collaborate on, feel free to start a conversation on the  triangl...@googlegroups.com. You can check out some project ideas at the following sites:

Go here for directions to TechShop: http://techshoprdu.com/

If you're new to TechShop, please come 10 minutes early. The front desk will want you to sign a waiver and  promise that you won't poke your eye out. After that, wander to the conference room to start the tinkering, talking, and collaborating. Have fun!
