As the subject line says this is a 2004 Harley Davidson Sportster XL
1200 with the Custom package. Yes, it's true, it has only 893 miles on
it. I'm posting this for a friend of mine. I'm not here to lay a sob
story on you, I'm here to sell a bike but, I want to tell you why the
bike is being sold.
My friend was diagnosed with testicular cancer which spread to his
stomach and lungs in November, he is a true bad-ass and is now cancer
free. We had a couple of fund raisers for him so he wouldn't lose his
house which also allowed him to get back on his feet again. He's doing
much better now but he cannot afford this bike anymore. Because of his
cancer and treatment he hasn't ridden this bike much at all. I helped
out with some of the payments for the summer in trade for some ride
time but I never planned to keep the bike. The bike was stored in his
garage from last fall to this spring and I trailered it to Ray Price
for the 500 mile tune up. I have put maybe 200 miles on it over the
course of the summer and have recently had it inspected. It also had a
new battery put in along with the tune up. I have receipts for the work

and the battery.
The Kelly Blue Book on this bike is right at $9200 with the assumption
of a mileage of 10,600. The bike is in mint condition and has never
been dropped or anything of that nature. You can check out the photos

The bike is completely stock, just the way it came from Ray Price. The
bike also comes with a cover.
He is asking $9000 for it to go ahead and sell the bike. If you are
looking to take advantage of the situation and try to haggle till blue
