Les' Sunday Ride

Sunday looks like a great day for a ride.  Les’ Sunday Ride will roll from Oka Hester Park on Groometown Road.  I don’t have a route figure out yet but it will be something between 35 and 40 miles.  Check back later for a Ride with GPS link.  Be ready to ride at 11:00 am at a 15 – 16 mph pace.  As always this will be a friendly no-drop ride with re-grouping along the way.  I’ll try to arrange at least one store stop sometime during the ride.

Hey guys,

I wanted to let Les and Lenny and Jeff (some of Dale's usual riding buddies) that he fell while riding yesterday and broke his left hand. His orthopedist has forbidden him from riding for a few weeks, so he is going to be missing that big time. He is more upset about having to not ride than anything else. Anyway, I am sure he will be back with you all as soon as possible, but in the meantime, just in case you notice he is missing, that's where he'll be. If you ever need him for anything, his cell number is 215-3707. Thank you!

So sorry to hear that!  However,  I think this is finally the time I could keep up with him.  Ask him if he'd like to race for $$$$.

Sunday looks like it should be ok to ride with typical spring weather.  Les’ Sunday ride will leave from the dentist’s office (Summerfield Family Dentistry) on Lake Brandt Rd just south of the intersection with Highway 150 at 11:00 am.  We will do more than 30 but less than 40 miles at a 15 -16 mph average.  This is a “no-drop” ride.
