Carolina Cup volunteer request!!!!

Hi folks:

 

Many of you have asked to help! Now Greensboro needs your assistance with the Carolina Cup (next Sunday, Sept 12!) 

Please help with Greensboro's largest & most prestigious sport bicycling event...

Help needed:

 

Saturday

 

9 AM -  install posts, crowd barriers, fencing and place straw bales around course.

Sunday 

 

7 AM! (first race is at 8 AM!) - Set up remaining stuff for race day; electrical hook ups, PA System, banners, signage, set up for registration. 

 

4 shifts: - Monitor critical points on course,  

               8 AM - 10 AM,  

              10 AM - Noon, 

               Noon - 2 PM, 

               2 PM - 4 PM? 

          Bring folding chair & cooler and watch the races from these spots along the course,
          and remind folks that they should not be walking out in the road while a high
           speed race is going on!!

              1 along back stretch near Bark Park
              2 at entrance from JayCee park

              3 in finish stretch where families stroll.
              4 in straight away area bear playground

 

11:30 AM - Noon- Help with kids races (start, finish, hand out prizes)  

 

4:30 PMish - Break down & pack up at
