Whenever someone in the Ubuntu MoTU team gets around to it. But it
doesn't really matter as Trelby has .deb files downloadable from the
site, which is very convenient to install on Ubuntu (just double
click).

I second this idea. The software is easier to remove if it is in the Ubuntu Software Center. In addition, this will let people know about this screenwriting software. It is easiest screenwriting software to install on Ubuntu, so why not have it in the Center so others can explore it, too. Just a thought.

I don't think submitting is as simple as just nominating it..? It needs to be added to the official repositories (debian and ubuntu).

They need a Personal Package Archive "PPA" ad deb package. More information is here  ---> https://help.launchpad.net/Packaging/PPA ad http://developer.ubuntu.com/publish/my-apps-packages/

Only trusted Trelby developers can create official Trelby packages. You are not a Trelby developer, let alone a trusted one. Hell, we don't even know your name!

So the answer is no.
