Good Morning,

I see Trelby has an incredible Dialogue Chart Feature, but I'd like to know if this FEATURE is EVEN POSSIBLE in Trelby?

I have attached a screenshot of Sophocles Screenwriting Software's RELATIONS VIEW.

Wow, I've always been blown away, but after seeing your Dialogue chart, this looks possible.

Depends how it's implemented. Is Sophocles scanning each dialogue text for references to other speaking characters? Or is it just basing this on something simpler like 'all characters who speak in the same scene are connected', or something?

Hello Osku,

I'm not a programmer, simply a screenwriter, but if I had to guess, I would say that it somehow analyzed the amount of dialogue lines per each character and then created the RELATIONS GRAPHIC from that info.

Yes, as long as the screenwriter is not doing this manually, that has to be the way Sophocles prepares the chart.
