Transportation Engineering Faculty Position at the University of Utah

Assistant Professor in Transportation Engineering. 

The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the University of Utah invites applications for a tenure‐track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. 

Applicants should have a demonstrated record of excellence in one or more of the following areas:

(a) Traffic operations,

(b) Traffic flow theory,

(c) Highway capacity and quality of service,

(d) Traffic signal systems, including adaptive traffic control and transit considerations,

(e) Microscopic traffic simulation,

(f) Intelligent transportation systems,

(g) Multimodal transportation systems analysis,

(h) Travel time reliability,

(i) Transportation security.

Initial screening of applicants will begin December 1, 2012 and will continue until the position is filled.
