Places to visit in or near San Sebastian

All,

We are planning a trip in July to San Sebastian and would love to have any recommendations on places to visit, restaurants to try etc.

We will have a car and speak Spanish so we can get around quite easily.

We have been to Spain several times as a family but this is our first visit to this region.

We were just there in April. In San Sebastian, there is an old
carnival area called Funicular with a cool cable car that goes up the
side of a coastal hill on the crescent edge of city. Once up there the
views of San Sebastian and the ocean are incredible. The rest of the
setting is old carnival feel from the 30s & 40s ...but the views are
well worth the venture up the hill.

Also in the vicinity...up the coast toward France. Don't miss the
coastal town of Hondarribia and the old walled city. All very
picturesque.
