The purpose of this workshop day was educational.  MN/DOT is trying to learn as much as possible about PRT before making decisions.  This seems to be a very sensible course of action, and perhaps a very difficult one. There has been very little printed, and a smattering of info all over the internet.

I am therefore undertaking, in the next couple of days,to write a pamphlet Titled ."UNDERSTANDING PRT ".  I plan to send it out to as many people as possible, as well as making it available online.

There was one disappointment at the meeting:  I expected to meet a lot of you guys that I have been talking to, for 15 years, here on this list.  Peter Muller, Richard Gronning, and Myself....I really expected to see more familiar nametags. Ed Anderson was there, but I didn't get much of a chance to talk to him.  I wish it had beern set up as a Convention, with a Hospitality Room where we could all meet and talk.  Maybe next time...

I have posted a summary of the conference on our blog page at
www.prtconsulting.com

Jack, ATRA is about to publish a booklet that accomplishes what you
proposed pamhlet does. You may want to wait to see it first.

Thanks, Peter, but I will probably be finished first, and I am going to send it specifically to some of the people at the meeting, not just publish it.

Sorry we didn't get the chance to talk more.
