Amazing! They run around playing chicken with the trolley just like it shows
in the earlier Market Street video only more so.

As long as the trolley isn't turning and is electric powered, the people playing chicken probably don't realize it is there until it is right on top of them. Steel on steel is pretty quiet unless it is turning. I also notice that there does not seem to much in the way of traffic control period. Everyone including motor cars are going every which way.

I'm not sure they are all electric, it looks like one has a smokestack
at one point.

They are not going much faster than a job, they never pass the people
doing what looks like about 8mph bicycling.

I can certainly hear the light rail coming on straight track a long
way away here.

Recently near Buffaol NY two walking in one set of parallel tracks were killed by a train from behind.
 
The warning horn blasts were ignored because they thought, apparently, they were coming from a train coming towards them on the other tracks.
