This Treehugger piece was from a while back - March 2008. Back when
this first came out, David Gow and I took Lloyd Alter to task for
quoting Avidor verbatim, and since that time Alter's stance has been
much less extreme. His latest PRT post was only very mildly skeptical,
acknowledging PRT's progress and promise but expressing doubt about
its applicability to cities.

I have always thought that Avodor was being paid by somebody to "prove" that PRT won't work, and now we know.
The very fact that he thinks Morgantown is PRT shows how little he actually knows, and that statements like "all PRT systems to date have been failures" shows that also. Here is a message from me to him:
Hey, Stupid, there have not been any PRT systems actually tried, so how can they be failures? The first is being tested now at Heathrow, and first reports indicate that it will be a success. Aren't you going to have a lot of Crow to eat when it begins to spread elsewhere? Who is going to pay you anything afterwards? Maybe you can get a job cleaning toilets somewhere.

Has SkyTran made a new proposal for Seattle? |

If a radio mouthpiece states things as a paid advertisment, that is his job, and people do understand that he is just doing it.
If he takes it upon himself to mouth lies and garbage, I am supposed to feel"empathy" for him. He is the personification of what is wrong with news people on this Continent. If I can goad him into the open, maybe we can get a chance to find out just how little he actually knows, even about the subjects that he favours.
