Dear Transition Town Women locally

Having attended Mary’s 5-Rhythms workshop for men – I have no hesitation highly recommending this.

It’s maybe the personal part of sustainability and resilience J

If you can – go!

Dave

5-Rhythms Style Dance Workshop for Women

Sunday 29 November 6.30 - 9.30pm

The Pugin Rooms Marlow

a dance-movement workshop to rediscover your dancer within and

connect with the energies of Lover, Warrior-ess, Magician and Queen

The workshop

This is a workout for body, mind and spirit.  It invites you to trust yourself to move naturally to

a variety of rhythms; it is not about learning a particular dance form or the steps that go with it. You will find your own unique movements

to release stress and allow you to discover something new about yourself.

About you

You don’t need to be especially fit.  And you don’t have to be good at dancing.  Just come as you are and work at your own pace.

Cost

£25 pp includes all materials.  Tea and coffee are available after 9.30pm so you can socialise if you wish. Please bring water.

Wear lose, exercise clothing in layers.  You are encouraged to dance barefoot.

Venue

The Pugin Rooms Marlow, Bucks, SL7 1NQ.  Car parking available.

To book

Telephone 01628-473198 or e-mail ma...@dancingforjoy.co.uk

If you can’t join us and are interested in future Dancing for Joy events or 1-2-1 dance-movement coaching, please contact Mary

on the number below.  This workshop is also available for men.

Your facilitator

Mary Nondé is a Community Dance Artist.  Over the past 9 years, through her company ‘Dancing for Joy’, she has facilitated

dance-movement events for adults and children, in both the private and  business sectors.  She is currently undertaking an

MA in Somatic Arts Psychotherapy.

What motivates her to get people dancing can be summed up by the phrase:

“I don’t know but I’ve been told, if you keep on dancing you’ll never grow old”

Absolutely fabulous thank you for the tip Dave.

I've done 5 rhythms in Sheffield and other places and I love it, been
waiting for it to pop up locally.
Especially good in the winter.
Its like the perfect middle aged persons disco, no booze or
teenagers!!!

Meet you sometime at a mixed session.

many thanks,
Emily
