Hope some of you will join us there. We
need some for the time when people are gathering, like from 12:30 on, at the
Open Space, then some to stay at the Space while some march. Let me know if you
plan to be there. I'll be there with a Lets Ban Fracking banner on
me.
Let's take back our food! March against
Monsanto with us on Saturday, May 25th at 2:00pm. We will start at The Open
Space (Grandview Parkway & Union Street), and march downtown from there.
Wear a RED or WHITE shirt if you can ... maybe even write a message on your
shirt with a Sharpie.
If you aren't planning to be at this
one, where will you be petitioning? You can turn petitions in to me for the
second collection if you want on Saturday, send them to Charlevoix yourself and
email me with a note on how many you sent and from what counties, or pass them
on to Sean or Megan at Horizon or Brew. If you are going to mail them, send
directly to Charlevoix rather than mail them to me, because I still have to get
them there eventually anyway.
I am not hearing much from too many of
you. Please communicate more often so we know how we are doing. We should be
speeding up now, not slowing down. We have gotten the easy signatures. Now we
need to be out in public finding all those folks who really don't know what to
do about fracking, but they know they don't like it. Our job is to help them
out.
