Notes from Transition BH meeting 19 March

Gary and Mary gave a brief summary of the Permaculture day at Rob's
place and the seed sowing day at TOPS. This was followed by
information and dates for local and national events:

-Andy had been to the Wareham Green Drinks event
-26 March Film night Methodist Church hall Oakdale
-17-18 April UK aware Exhibition Olympia London
-22 May Transition Conference
-23 May Big Green Fortnight Exhibition at the Pavilion
-Green picnic date TBA

The exhibition at the Pavilion was briefly discussed by the whole
group. Harriet asked for volunteers to help with the practical issues
of the event and several people offered. One of the small groups
continued this discussion.

It was decided that a resource table could be set up at subsequent
meetings with anyone bringing items of interest that others could
borrow.

We also discussed the possibility of some meetings splitting into area
groups.

There were three small discussion groups. It was agreed that the note-
taker in each group would be responsible for writing up and posting
the notes.

Next meeting 16 April 7.30 - 9.30pm Regent Centre Christchurch

Re venue for next meeting - this is at *Druitt Hall* (next to Library)
in Christchurch, date as stated 16 April at 7.30pm. Info to follow as
to whether tea/coffee facilities will be available.
