Transgender Law Center Made History on Give OUT Day!

Thank you for your contribution to Transgender Law Center on Give OUT
Day, the country’s first collaboration to increase giving to LGBT
causes. With your donation to TLC, you helped make history by placing
the transgender movement prominently in the national spotlight. We
received the most donations out of 300+ participating LGBT
organizations from coast to coast!

We were extremely lucky to have received social media support from
Janet Mock, Cecilia Chung, Margaret Cho…and many others who tweeted
and retweeted our announcements.
We’re also grateful to an anonymous donor, Leonie Walker and Kate
O’Hanlan, and Rose Hayes who inspired giving through incentive
challenge and matching grants that day.

Because you made TLC and the transgender movement a priority-through
your giving and fundraising, we are totally humbled. And, we’d like to
thank everyone who participated on Give OUT Day regardless of which
organization they supported.

May 9 was a huge victory overall in the ongoing effort to increase
philanthropy toward LGBT causes!
