apologies re: maria mersi" message

Hi, esp. any new members:

Some of you may have gotten a message from one "Maria Mersi" that was definitely not cycling related. (!)

This does not normally happen. 

Maria was an automated spammer and was removed from the group. 

Usually messages from any new member goes to the administrator first, who then verifies that it is a real person, cycling relateed, etc.. and then allows them to post whenever they want.  I was doing some maintenance and accidentally forgot to check a box which makes all messages from new members go to moderation first. 

It's fixed. Sorry about that.
