Anyone up for humping it around the Grafton Loop Trail some time this summer? 38-39 miles in length and almost 11,000 of gain. Pemi loop on steroids.

Sounds intriguing! Always wanted to explore that area. Depending on the date, I'd love to check it out.

How does the weekend of August 25th and 26th sound? Might mean backing
off of the Pemi Loop trip that's tenatively scheduled for the week
before but at this point I think it's just me and Mindy that are
confirmed for that one.

If you're up for a switch Mindy I'd wouldn't mind hitting the GNL
instead....either way I'm hoping to get a 30+mile mountain run in on
one of the two weeks with the 25th, 26th being ideal if it worked for
others.

That section of the AT the GNL is on is very run-able....not sure about the new trails which were built to form this loop.  It will most likely require a very early start and finish in the dark. I need to do some more research.

Still interested in doing this on the weekend of the 25th. Anyone else
in? (Pemi-loop is plan b)

Unfortunately I'm out - steve day's 5K is the 25th and we are leading a Big Brad tour on the 26th.  Take lots of pictures if you go!

If you're doing the Punisher that day Dave I'll pace you on the last lap after I get back from the Steve Day 5k.

That would be incredible Ian. I'll be starting at 6 or 7a depending on
whether I can camp there on Friday night. Defintiely appreciate the
company and looking forward to checking out the course on the 25th.
Will be in touch to plan meet-up logistics once I have a better sense
of when I'll be heading out for lap 3...again much appreciated and
looking forward.
