Subject: How to create a new page?

I've looked this up on Bing, but I don't get it :) .

I don't use Trac enough.  Basically, what do I do?  I'd like to have a new
page and put in a bunch of new instructions for other users.  I clicked on
Edit This Page, added the title of my new document in a list and then
saved... but there was no link generated that would permit me to go and
modify my new page... it was just text.

Did you CamelCase the page name, or enclose use a [wiki:pagename] tag?

I'm not sure what you mean.

Do I have to create a separate HTML file that I link to in Trac or is this
file created from a utility inside of Trac?

Yves,

1.       Visit an existing page in your Trac wiki

2.       Begin editing that page

3.       Add a new line with just the text:   NewPage

4.       Save your edits

5.       The text NewPage should have become a link, Click it.

6.       Your now on NewPage, which is currently empty. You can edit it just like any other wiki page.

At step 5 the text "NewPage" was a link because of the capital letters without  spaces - it's called CamelCase. If you prefer not to use CamelCase for your page names you can replace NewPage with e.g. [wiki:new_page].
