Curious about how ticket comment spam was getting through my regex
filters that really shouldn't be, I discovered that (unless I'm totally
on crack), the SpamFilter plugin has never actually checked the
comments themselves, only ticket fields, description and summary.

r3696 fixes this, so if you're using SpamFilter I *highly* suggest you
upgrade to latest trunk.

No, it was r3686 that introduced this regression, sorry for that and
thanks for the fix.

So unless you were using r3686, your comments were checked... but on the
other hand,
the text fields were not ;-) So best is to upgrade to r3696 in any case.
