Hi,

anyone here who knows more about the current situation?
I feel afraid that the whole site has gone unrecoverable :-(

Current situation is thus:

Alec Thomas operates trac-hacks.org

He went on a month long vacation. He left around the 18th of September

Sometime after he left, trac-hacks.org went down do to an unknown
reason. The box stopped responding, so even those who might have been
able to get in and look at things, can't.

So, we wait until Alec returns. Which will hopefully be around the 18th
of October, but I don't think anyone know exactly.

Thank you very much for giving this information.
I think it would be a good idea to have a mirror at least of trac-hacks'
svn repositories.
It's not that complicated, just an initial checkout and then a cron
based update.
Once coderanger (and trac-hacks) is back, I'll ask him for permission to
do so.

Coderanger does have a slightly out of date mirror of both
trac-hacks.org and the svn repos at:

https://trachacks.coderanger.net

The repos should be:

https://trachacks.coderanger.net/svn

However, I'm sure that once Alec is back and trac-hacks.org is back up,
there will be discussion on keeping mirrors more up to date.

This one was supposed to be automated, the mirroring just died when
trac-hacks moved to a new machine (a few paths changed).
