changing out keyboard on cf28

i took off the hinge cover and trried to slide it up and it will not
come out,

Assuming it is the keyboard that won't slide up-
The keyboard is held down with very sticky tape. You need to carefull
but forcefully pry it up. The ribbon cables are folded over at teh
bottom under a metal plate that you will also need to remove (6-7
screws).

Be very careful with this as it could be easy to damage the parts.

Be especially careful with the ribbon connectors to the motherboard.
On one of them the lock actually needs to be pushed down to release
the cable.

Also, be very careful with the latches on the motherboard, which grip
the flex cables. The latches break easily, and they're not field-
replaceable -- you can render an entire motherboard useless doing
this!
