The President of the United Nations General Assembly today called for
international sanctions to be imposed on the state of Israel.
Miguel d'Escoto Brockmann said that the international community should
engage in a 'boycott, divestment and sanctions' campaign against Israel,
similar to those enacted against South Africa two decades ago."
Israel has engaged in a military occupation of the Palestinian territories
since 1967, with an increase in military presence since the year 2000.
The people of Palestine continue to live under martial law, with no control
of their land, sea or water. In his remarks, d'Escoto said that Israeli
policies in the Occupied Palestinian Territories appear similar to the
apartheid of an earlier era, a continent away.
He said that the United Nations should not be afraid to use the term
apartheid to describe what is happening in occupied Palestine.
Former US President Jimmy Carter came under fire for using the term
'apartheid' in reference to the Israel-Palestine conflict. He was even
prevented from speaking at the Democratic National Convention this year
because of his position on the issue.

Gaza held hostage should outrage us all

There are 1.5 million men, women and children currently imprisoned without
food, water, fuel or essential medicines. There is little to cook and
nothing to cook on except open-air wood fires.
Students do their best to learn by candlelight. Adults struggle to find
transport to take them to work, those lucky enough to have a job; 60 per
cent are unemployed. The lives of the sick hang on a lottery. Soon they will
face the worst of the winter in the dark. Worst of all, there is no escape.
As if all this suffering isn't enough, their neighbourhoods are regularly
bombed; their leaders assassinated. They stood by helplessly as their
life-sustaining olive groves were willfully destroyed and their homes
demolished.
Most of the people of Gaza have been captives throughout their lives. Today,
they have nothing; no real champions, no future, no hope; not even bread.
And what is the so-called international community doing about their man-made
plight? The answer is nothing. Indeed, many neighbouring countries are
colluding, albeit reluctantly.
Living hell
How long are we going to witness this terrible example of man's inhumanity
to man without feeling ashamed at our own silence or anger at the inaction
of our own leaders? Why are normally compassionate people who enjoy the
benefits of First World living unflinching when it comes to the pain endured
by Palestinians?
It seems to me there is a sense that these stateless people fighting for a
home and to retain their identity are somehow at fault. Perhaps in that way
we can ease our own consciences.
When natural disasters, such as a tsunami, an earthquake, a hurricane or
famine occur, we open our hearts and our wallets. We rail at countries where
bad governance is responsible for poverty, hunger and civil war, such as
Zimbabwe and the Congo.
We rightfully feel a sense of outrage over the continued existence of
Guantanamo. Yet, how many of us do more than shrug our shoulders at the way
Israel treats 1.5 million people encaged in a living hell?
Geneva Conventions
For the last three weeks, Israel has imposed a complete blockade on the Gaza
Strip in response to homemade rockets that were lobbed at southern Israel.
It doesn't care that "collective punishment" is illegal both under
international law and the Geneva Conventions.
For instance, Article 33 of the Geneva Conventions IV (1949) reads: "No
protected person may be punished for an offence he or she has not personally
committed. Collective penalties, pillage and reprisals against protected
persons and their property are prohibited."
Last January, Israel's Supreme Court upheld an earlier blockade of Gaza even
while confirming Israel's obligation under international law not to
deliberately harm civilians.
Well, Israel is deliberately harming civilians. Those premature newborns
hanging by a thread to life because Gaza's largest hospital, Shifa, is
operating on a faulty generator and patients suffering kidney failure who
cannot receive dialysis are being punished for crimes they didn't commit.
On Sunday, King Abdullah of Jordan made this appeal to EU ambassadors: "The
international community should do its utmost to end suffering of
Palestinians in Gaza." A fine sentiment, indeed, but that's as far as it
goes.
Earlier, Israel rejected an appeal by the secretary-general of the UN, Ban
Ki-Moon, who underscored the "importance of having Israel urgently permit
the delivery of humanitarian assistance to the civilian population of Gaza,
and regrets that his calls have not yet been heeded."
The exiled leader of Hamas, Khalid Mesha'al, has criticised the leaders of
Arab and Muslim countries for their silence and says he would like "every
Arab country to send a boat to Gaza."
Whatever one feels about the merits of Hamas as a political party or a
fighting force, Mesha'al has a point. King Abdullah's appeal to the
international community is welcomed but it should have been directed
specifically at the Arab world, which has not only a moral but a brotherly
duty to show the way.
Egypt should open Rafah, despite its fears that an uncontrollable human
flood will ensue, simply because it's the right thing to do.
Condemnation
Sad to say, but Israel has proved time and time again that international
condemnation bounces off it like water off a duck's back. The Israelis cared
a hoot when former US president Jimmy Carter called the blockade "a crime
and atrocity" back in April or when the Nobel peace laureate referred to it
as "an abomination" in May.
No more pleading. There needs to be action. Israel should be treated in the
same way South Africa under apartheid was -- with boycotts and isolation.
Its government should be tried at The Hague even in absentia and its
officials should be liable to arrest wherever they travel.
Israel with the backing of Washington believes it is inviolable; it can do
whatever it likes and step on whomever it wishes without repercussions. If
words won't cut it, then the only way for the Palestinians to be heard is
for the world to give Israel a small but bitter taste of its own nasty
medicine.

Holocaust Holidays in the USA

Did you ever notice how most major USA holidays celebrate genocides and
holocausts? The first official Thanksgiving Day celebrated the massacre of
native American men, women and children during one of their religious
ceremonies.

English and Dutch. The Indians were ordered from the building and as they
came forth were shot down, The rest were burned alive in the
building-----The very next day the governor declared a Thanksgiving

Then there is Columbus Day. He was a terrorist according to today's
definition. Las Casas, a priest traveling with Columbus tells how the
Spaniards in the Caribbean "grew more conceited every day" . They "rode the
backs of Indians if they were in a hurry" or were carried on hammocks by
Indians running in relays. "In this case they also had Indians carry large
leaves to shade them from the sun and others to fan them with goose wings."
Total control led to total cruelty. The Spaniards "thought nothing of
knifing Indians by tens and twenties and of cutting slices off them to test

Christians met two Indian boys one day, each carrying a parrot; they took

There is the Fourth of July. Those revolutionaries would be tortured at
Guantanamo or water-boarded in a CIA prison in Poland or Romania today. The
American revolutionaries of the 1700's sponsored a new nation with a
constitution built on "Indian removal" and genocide of an estimated 11
million natives and slavery of Africans. The figures from the 18th Century
Slave Trade show approximately 5,000,000 people transported and 8,100,000
people died.
Then there is Memorial Day celebrating the deaths of all the men that bought
the military industrial complex's war propaganda. The United States has sent
troops abroad or militarily struck other countries' territory at least 216
times since independence from Britain . Since 1945 the United States has
intervened in more than 20 countries throughout the world. Since World War
II, the United States actually dropped bombs on 23 countries. These include:
China 1945-46, Korea 1950-53, China 1950-53, Guatemala 1954,Indonesia 1958,
Cuba 1959-60, Guatemala 1960, Congo1964, Peru 1965, Laos 1964-73, Vietnam
1961-73,Cambodia 1969-70, Guatemala 1967-69, Grenada 1983,Lebanon 1984,
Libya 1986, El Salvador 1980s, Nicaragua1980s, Panama 1989, Iraq 1991-1999,
Sudan 1998,Afghanistan 1998, and Yugoslavia 1999. Post World War II, the
United States has also assisted in over 20 different coups throughout the
world, and the CIA was responsible for half a dozen assassinations of
political heads of state.
My personal favorite holiday is Labor Day. Here are some highlights from
Illinois , my state of residence demonstrating how much the USA government
values its laborers:
14 July 1877
A general strike halted the movement of U.S. railroads. In the following
days, strike riots spread across the United States . The next week, federal
troops were called out to force an end to the nationwide strike. At the "
Battle of the Viaduct" in Chicago , federal troops (recently returned from
an Indian massacre) killed 30 workers and wounded over 100.
Haymarket on 11 November 1887, four anarchists were executed. All of the
executed advocated armed struggle and violence as revolutionary methods, but
their prosecutors found no evidence that any had actually thrown the
Haymarket bomb. They died for their words, not their deeds. A quarter of a
million people lined Chicago 's street during Parson's funeral procession to
express their outrage at this gross mis-carriage of justice.
5 July 1893
During a strike against the Pullman Palace Car Company, which had
drastically reduced wages, the 1892 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago
's Jackson Park was set ablaze, and seven buildings were reduced to ashes.
The mobs raged on, burning and looting railroad cars and fighting police in
the streets, until 10 July, when 14,000 federal and state troops finally
succeeded in putting down the strike.
3 February 1930
"Chicagorillas" -- labor racketeers -- shot and killed contractor William
Healy, with whom the Chicago Marble Setters Union had been having
difficulties.
30 May 1937
Police killed 10 and wounded 30 during the "Memorial Day Massacre" at the
Republic Steel plant in Chicago.
For over five hundred years whether it's Europeans calling themselves
Catholics or Puritans; Europeans calling themselves Zionists; or the
democratic crusaders of the USA it's never a good thing for indigenous
populations to have invaders "settle" on the stolen land to which they say
they have a divine right. . The Puritans embraced a line from Psalms 2:8,
"Ask of me, and I shall give thee, the heather for thine inheritance, and
the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession." Their mantra of "God
told me it's mine" means the shit is hitting the fan for the people of the
land.
I attempted to explain this history recently to my grandchildren while
discussing natives and pilgrims. The four year old who has not had the
benefit of public school programming said those Europeans should never again
steal the land from the natives! Her five year old brother, who is being
programmed in the public school system told me the pilgrims were the good
guys and that I would understand when I go to school someday.
I understand alright. In June 1637 John Underhill slaughtered a Pequot
village in a similar manner to that described above.
The Pequot had a festival to welcome in the new harvest. At that point, the
pilgrims came over and ambushed and slaughtered them. The next day the
pilgrims went to church and gave thanks to God for the food and success.

The descendents of these Europeans have a similar scam going in Iraq ,

"claim" the oil. As for the Zionists, their god tells them that they get to
have Gaza, Jerusalem, South Lebanon, and it does not matter if it violates
any man made law because their god trumps man made laws and their holocaust
gets better film distribution.
The hate campaigns of past and present are slick and the propaganda program
in the military and the media are one and the same: Hate the native, kill
the native, and steal the land. The government media wing employs henchmen,
like Edward Bernays of the past and torture loving lawyer Alan Dershowitz
who manufactures the hate campaigns of today. They engineer pseudo academic
programs and obsessive propaganda films intended to scare white Americans
who will in turn support nuking commies or Muslims or both to kingdom come.
Today's propagnada of Trotskyites turned neo-conservatives are as factual as
the Thanksgiving and Columbus myths.
President elect Obama says he's all about change. Guess what story he'll be
telling on this National Day of Mourning for the indigenous people of the
world that the US government calls Thanksgiving Day? I bet it won't be the
story about the massacre of natives after they shared some food with the
hungry Europeans. It will be the continuing saga of giving thanks for
governments sponsored Iraqi and Palestinian holocausts while bailing out
bankers for the new world order.

This is a particularly meaningful aspect of the Iraq genocide, the
extermination of its intellectual classes. It wasn't enough to invade and

its future denied.
The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) representative Roger Wright said
in the October 2004 report: "Iraq used to have one of the finest school
systems in the Middle East." Who remembers now that Saddam Hussein's Iraq
was awarded the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural
Organisation (UNESCO) prize for eradicating illiteracy in 1982!

Iraqi Parliament passes US security pact

Iraqi Parliament has approved by majority vote a security pact between
Baghdad and Washington that calls for US troops withdrawal by 2011.
Parliament speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani said Thursday an overwhelming
majority of the lawmakers who attended the session voted in favor of the
pact.
The agreement was passed on Thursday with 144 of the 198 lawmakers present
voting in favor. A total of 35 other lawmakers also voted against the
agreement.
The vote was supported by the governing coalition and the Kurdish blocs as
well as the largest Sunni Arab bloc in parliament, which had demanded
concessions for supporting the deal.
The Thursday parliamentary session also saw scenes of disruption from
lawmakers loyal to the Sadr bloc.
The US and Iraq had been at loggerheads for the past 11 months over key
issues in the deal.
The pact --which had earlier been approved by the Iraqi Cabinet-- will now
provide ground for the US troops to stay in the war-torn country beyond
their UN mandate which expires in December.
Under the deal, US forces will pull out of Iraqi cities by June 30 and the
entire country by the end of 2011. Iraq will oversee the activities of the
US troops during the period.
The pact must be rubber stamped by Iraq's Presidential Council and is
scheduled to be put to referendum on July 30, 2009.

THE MUMBAI ATTACKS: A TRIGGER FOR U.S. 'INTERVENTION' IN PAKISTAN?

Whoever is responsible for the attacks in Mumbai, one thing is for certain;
they were an extremely well armed, well equipped and highly organised group
which puts them well outside of the usual rag-tag 'terrorist' groups that
one would generally associate with these seemingly random attacks against
civilian targets. The sophistication and their apparent coolness together
with their well coordinated and simultaneous attacks against specific
targets has all the hallmarks of a professional covert operation planned and
coordinated in real time by persons other than those actually involved in
carrying out the attacks.

already trying to do, is to blame the attacks on Pakistani extremists
associated with 'al Qaeda' and the Taliban for the purpose of directly

are supporters of extremists. Since Pakistan is a nuclear armed nation one
can easily see where this is going.

where Pakistan might be headed after the pro-US President Musharraf was
tossed out of power and would be looking for any excuse to ensure that

Pakistan government is just one more step intended to get world public
opinion on side for an 'intervention' by the US and their allies into
Pakistani affairs. Indeed, I was very recently told personally by a senior
Australian Defence official that Pakistan was of extreme concern to the
Australian government and that the Australian government regards Pakistan as
a highly dangerous nation and potential enemy of the west in the 'very near
future'.
Whether or not these attacks are designed to actually trigger an
'intervention' by the US and their allies against Pakistan or is simply part
of a build up to ensure public opinion is on side for an 'intervention' at a
later date is, as yet, unclear. What is clear, however, is that these
attacks were not carried out by al Qaeda or the Taliban; they were far too
sophisticated for that.

If the Nov. 26 attacks in Mumbai were carried out by Islamist militants as
it appears, the Indian government will have little choice, politically
speaking, but to blame them on Pakistan. That will in turn spark a crisis

The majority of the corporate media has gleefully seized upon the terror
attacks in Mumbai to claim that they are the work of "Al-Qaeda," despite
clear and contradictory evidence suggesting otherwise, as a pretext to
increase bombing campaigns in Pakistan and beef support for the ailing war
on terror in Afghanistan.
The swiftness with which the media blamed "Al-Qaeda" was staggering,
especially considering the fact that the attacks had not even concluded
before the boogeyman was whipped out of the closet once more to act as a
poster child for the war on terror and allow the TV networks to show lots of
blood, panic and authority figures pointing guns at people.

Sure enough, it's Muslims. Or so the media tells me. Apparently the
terrorists are unhappy with the treatment of Muslims in India. Their plan,
as best I can tell, is to kill Indians and foreigners indiscriminately, set
fire to major pubic buildings, and take hostages and refuse to release them
until Muslims are treated better. Good thinking. Am I alone in wondering at
this disconnect?
Between me and the media, it sure looks like it. But it's early days yet.
Me, I confidently look forward to the members of the media stating the
obvious and saying, 'This doesn't make any sense at all. Who in their right
mind would expect that a huge Muslim murder spree would improve the lot of
Muslims? How will this achieve anything but having Hindus and Muslims at
each other's throats? How would this be in the interest of Muslims?'
Just joking - those questions will never be asked. But if they were I
imagine the answer would be that these people are not in their right mind.
They're nuts. Nuts who can pull off a coordinated 100 man attack. When it
comes to the 'how' they're rational, but on the subject of 'why', they are
insane. Um, okay.
Sorry, but between the two prospects of madmen seeking one thing and
achieving the obvious and inevitable opposite, and perfectly rational people
seeking discord by way of lies and dupes, and succeeding admirably, I'm
going to put my money on the latter.
The difference between me and the media is that I have a smattering of
history. I know that in 1954 Israeli agents pretending to be Muslims blew up
American targets in Cairo in the hopes of prompting the US to attack Egypt.
They didn't succeed because the bombers were caught and spilled all the
beans. I know that they did it again in 1967 when they attempted to sink the
USS Liberty with the loss of all hands and blame it on the Egyptians. The
nuke-laden skyhawks were already on their way to Cairo before LBJ and
McNamara realised that the Israelis had failed to sink the most lightly
armed boat in the US navy and called them back. Oops.
Clearly the Israelis decided that their previous lies had been too modest
and on the 11th of September 2001, they attacked multiple US targets and
killed 3000. Finally success! Christians and Muslims, at each other's
throats. High fives all round. Confirmation indeed that they were precisely
as great as they thought they were.
The media obviously doesn't do history. Not unless it's Nazis, that is.
Anyway, who in the media has time for history? They can be barely keep up
with the script on the autocue, never mind all that boring history stuff
about who bombed who whilst pretending to be Muslims. As they say in the
media - Don't think, just read the script! And are the words, 'false-flag',
'Israeli agents', or 'overpaid media whores' in the script? Of course not.
Nor should one ask who writes the script. Whoever they are, they're very
clever. Without them how would we know that Muslims are irrational murderous
motherfuckers who will kill us in spite of the fact that it will advance
their interests in no way, shape, or form.

Thanksgiving Dinner with Baron Samedi and Al Qaeda in Wonderland.

Well, it didn't take long for Mumbai to get the Al Qaeda fingerprint. Never
mind that there is no Al Qaeda, Al Qaeda must have done it. You are all
familiar with Al Qaeda. Like The Scarlet Pimpernel, "they seek him here,
they seek him there." But they can't find him anywhere.
It is a matter of great amazement to me that this Al Qaeda can be anywhere
in the world, any time it wants to be and that it can strike at will under
the orders of the Baron Samedi redux, Bin Laden, who routinely issues his
commands from somewhere under the ground or the world beyond.
There's never been a more amazing organization than Al Qaeda. They managed
to get through ICTS, Israeli security at three U.S. airports and hijack four
planes. Then they took two planes and crashed into two buildings in New York
City. They did this while flying with a precision that few trained pilots
could have achieved, without ever having flown such planes before. Then they
managed to level three buildings at the speed of freefall where not even one
similar building ever fell before though they burned hotter and longer. They
didn't even need a plane to level one of the buildings. That's probably
another Baron Samedi element and explains all the feathers and chicken blood
that covered the streets of NYC in the aftermath.
They're a talented lot, this Al Qaeda, not only did they knock down three
buildings with two planes and cover the city with asbestos flavored, chicken
blood and feathers but Mohammed Atta tossed his passport out of the plane in
some sort of over the shoulder arabesque, as if Isadora Duncan and Amelia
Earhart had merged in a Baron Samedi mind-meld with Bin Laden who was
controlling the whole thing via remote viewing from a UFO equipped, space
cave in Afghanistan and the passport tumbled through the flames and the
smoke and glided like a miniature magic carpet right in front of the feet of
a NYC policeman.
Then they slipped right past ICTS, Israeli security again in The Madrid
Train station and then slipped past ICTS, Israeli security one more time at
the London Tube, right under the nose of Netan-yahoo who was in the hotel
above. It has to be magic, there's no other explanation. It's not Bin Laden
that you're after, it's Baron Samedi. It's not Al Qaeda that you're looking
for; it's the Scarlet Pimpernel and The Seven Dwarfs.
I'm not going to play with rumors concerning who was behind the Mumbai
bombing in 2006. I don't need rumors when I've got real life, science
fiction and space invaders from the fifth dimension.
What's most impressive is how the only Al Qaeda

the people of Gaza. They shut off the power in Gaza. They made all the
medicine disappear. They caused the sewage to overflow into the streets and
the latest report is that the Cholera germs are actually tiny Al Qaeda
soldiers. It's also Al Qaeda who turned all the Chinese firecrackers into
super rockets and launched them with deft precision into empty lots all over
Siderot. As a result Al Qaeda now has a three picture deal and a major book
tour out of Al Qaeda controlled Hollywood.
Bin Laden's going to go public again too. After a long period of time
sunning himself on The French Riviera, with the occasional commute to his
Xanadu in Pakistan, for a little skiing and snowboarding, he's contemplating
a tour of crowded urban centers somewhere near you. The Alien Grays have
outfitted him with a magic coat of many colors and he's going to be
launching dirty bombs with mean guitar licks and hair conditioner, liquid
explosives on various airliners all while exposing himself to Catholic high
school girls in Flushing, Queens. He was last seen on the roof of Lum's
Chinese Restaurant on Northern Blvd. What a guy!
The global financial meltdown which has only just begun? You got it. Bin
