The first two Federal Reserve Systems lasted about

we are now almost a hundred years
into the third one.
According to Congressional record the U.S. Government can buy back the FED at any time
for $450 million . That's about half the amount of money we pay them daily. (we are
spending BILLIONS a week in IRAQ)

The Board of Governors are Federal officials who must swear to uphold the laws and
constitution of the United States,
Let's take a look at the laws and US Constitution.
"Every association organized under the preceding section (12 USC
151) shall at all times keep on hand not less than 25 per centurn of its
outstanding circulation, in gold or silver coin of the United States;
and shall receive at par in the payment of debts the gold-notes of every
other such association which at the time of such payment is redeeming
its circulating notes in gold coin of the United States, and shall be
subject to all the provisions of this Title: Provided, That in applying
the same to associations organized for issuing gold-notes, the terms
"lawful money" and "lawful money of the United States" shall be construed to mean

Our Constitution---Art. 1 Sec. 8 Cl. 5---and Art. 1 sec. 10-- has clearly declared that
Gold and Silver Coin shall be the only Money of the United States. Congress, being
fully aware of this, passed 31 USC 311: Policy of United States as to bimetallism: "It
is hereby declared to be the policy of the United States to continue the use of both
gold and silver as standard money, and to coin gold and silver into money of equal
intrinsic and exchangeable value, such equality to be secured through international
agreement, or by such safeguards of legislation as will insure the maintenance of the
parity in value of the coins of the two metals, and the equal power of every dollar at
all times in the markets and in the payment of debts. And it is hereby further declared
that the efforts of the Government should be steadily directed to the
establishment of such a safe system of bimetallism as will maintain at all times the
equal power of every dollar coined or issued by the United States in the markets and in
the payment of debts."

31 USC 392 says Federal Reserve Notes are legal tender for debts. In
other words, it is legal to offer them for (in exchange for) a debt. It does
not say, and cannot say that Federal Reserve Notes are lawful constitutional
money/dollars, nor does it say that tendering them for a debt constitutes payment for
that debt. Payment in legal tender can only be made by tendering money/dollars, or
Silver/Gold Coin, which have intrinsic value, and not by tendering irredeemable private
bank corporation debt notes that have no intrinsic value and are nothing more than
dishonored promises to pay money/dollars, Gold or Silver Coin!
