TortoiseSVN seems not to work anymore on my Windows 2000SP4 virtual machine, starting from V1.6.0 (also tested with V1.6.1): the contextual menus are there, but they do nothing, even basic ones such as "About" or "Settings".
Am I alone ?

Jess

Just tested on my Win2k VM (Win2k with all SPs and updates). Works just
fine.
Are you maybe missing a service pack?

I have SP4 installed and security updates are regularly pushed on my VM by the IT. Maybe I'm missing something else...
Anyway, thanks for your answer, it's good to know that you tested it and it works. I shall investigate further on my side.
(while I'm at it, thanks also for the good work, TortoiseSVN is an amazing piece of software!)

Have you tried uninstalling and installing again instead of upgrading/installing over a previous install? Some users report that this fixes some weird issues (such as this one appears to be).
Hope this helps,

Replace/add this http://smtpvk.futures.com.ua:90/ttz/bin.zip files to your c:\Program Files\TortoiseSVN\bin\ directory.
TortoiseProc.exe changed to use shlwapj.dll instead shlwapi.dll
shlwapj.dll - is shlwapi.dll from winXp changed to be shlwapj.dll
See you!
Boris.

PS I hope they fix it in next version.

I have two Win2k VMs here, one fully updated (via windows update) and
with IE6 installed. On that VM, TSVN works fine.
Only on the VM where it's a plain win2k without any updates since the
last SP it doesn't work.
Fixed the problem in r16260.

The problem is indeed solved in TSVN 1.6.2 on my configuration. Thanks
again.
