I am wondering if its possible to disable all that fancy work you guys did for tortoise svn to transverse through external repos looking for updates. =P I want to include boost in my repository, but I do not want to spend a minute waiting for tortoise svn to check all the boost headers for updates. I put the boost headers in their own folder in a different location and set an svn:external property, but it seems tortoise still scans all that for updates :(
Any information is appreciated

Right click in the working copy, select TortoiseSVN > Update to Revision, and check the "Omit externals" checkbox.
I do not know if there is a way to make this the default option, though.
