Externals not being downloaded on checkout

When I do a checkout of a specific directory in my repository that has external links in it, and my checkout depth is "Only this item", externals are not being downloaded. I do not have the "Omit externals" box checked. This seems broken to me. Externals are being omitted even though I have told them not to be.

I'm using a nightly build from a few days/weeks ago.

Thanks Stefan. I wasn't aware that this was a subversion issue. Hopefully they will fix it soon, it makes sparse checkouts a pain in the arse.
