As I mentioned at the last meet-up, I'm hring.
We're looking for a back-end developer for our new startup.
The application is using Lift, Akka, D3.js, Riak and Postgres.
We're currently a team of 5, with a couple of beta clients and funding.

This is a friendly reminder that the next Toronto Scala meetup is happening
tomorrow evening at Miso, a co-working space located just south of Trinity
Bellwoods park at 862 Richmond Street West.

We'll get started shortly after 6:30pm. We'll dedicate the first 30 mins to
loosely structured networking and offer up the projector to anyone

Hey everyone, let's have another Toronto Scala Meetup!
After having to reschedule for our last meetup, Typesafe is sending James
Ward to Toronto in a couple of weeks to speak about Play Framework and the
Typesafe Stack! James will be presenting a talk titled:
"Introduction to the Play Framework"
As well, Tindr ([link]) will again be sending a representative
