I know that some of you are involved with / interested in Agile software development, so I thought I'd mention:

1) Naresh Jain and I are creating a new event called AgileCoachCamp, a BarCamp for change agents helping teams evolve toward Agile self-organizing development. It should be a blast, I can't wait!

2) The annual, international conference of the Agile Alliance will be in Toronto next year. (Bad timing, what with the dollar and all that!) But good for us. The last two years this conference sold out really early, just so you know.

The conference chair will be in Toronto on Dec 6th and would like to meet with anyone who'd like to help create events to connect the conference participants with the local community (pub crawl, anyone?). If anyone is interested to meet with her, I include her email below.

Hello Scrum Friends!

I thought you might be interested in a new not-for-profit conference that Naresh Jain and I are planning for next spring:
http://www.AgileCoachCamp.org

It's open to anyone who considers themselves a Lean / Agile change agent, mentor, scrummaster, manager ... anyone who's actively responsible for shepherding a team or organization through the shift to Agile, or is responsible to maintain the process of an Agile team. (This role takes on many different faces and titles in different organizations and methodologies).

We're still looking at various NE US venues, so please join the mailing list if you want to hear what develops! I hope you'll consider joining us there, we'd love to have a chance to collaborate with all of you!

(And, please spread the word! It won't be an expensive event, so let everyone know!)
