I say that if the docs stay small, use what you have - it looks nice. If the docs were to get a bit bigger (I doubt they would), I don't think it would scale well.

Here are a few other quick points:

Make the GitHub wiki page simply point to the website it's confusing having different sources of information.

Some of the hints from the README file should probably make it into the documentation on the website.

Be upfront about shelving still being in a beta state.
