Are you looking to shape the future of an exciting startup that has

We are a stealth mode company focusing on developing video content for
a highly-specialized vertical.  The founding team is comprised of
several media and technology executives, including veterans of Google
and YouTube.  We have built professional studios in downtown Manhattan
and producing content each day. Our bright San Francisco based
engineering team,  many of whom are Stanford and MIT alums are
building our core product, an online social video site that will
feature our content.

 Working for an early stage company, you will have the opportunity to
develop a large scale website from the ground up that we anticipate
will provide service to users throughout the world. We will launch
this fall.  Your responsibilities will be to help design and develop a
highly web site, with a strong focus on front-end implementation and
user interface design.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop a highly-scalable website, with a strong focus on
online video and social networking
Write and ship great code that's maintainable and elegant
Work with other superstar engineers to deliver a high-quality product
on-time
Use your entrepreneurial drive and passion to take our team to the
next level
Qualifications:

Smart, driven to get things done, take pride in the quality of code
that you write
Motived, self-starter that can accurately set goals and deadlines
Proven experience and track record of web development on sites that
consumers use; you know things like AJAX, Javascript, performance-
tuning, etc.
Must be able to learn new languages and frameworks extremely fast - we
use Ruby on Rails but any strong developer will be considered)
Familiarity with programming on mobile devices and operating systems a
plus
Outstanding design skills so that you can take specs and requirements
and write production-ready code
Excellent communication skills to work well with other talented
engineers
Excitement to be an early employee at a company with tremendous growth
potential; we work hard, but have fun doing it
B.S. or advanced degree in Computer Science or related Engineering
