Skype, Mirc, conference and stuff?

Should we use this stuff for communication? It seems to me it would
help us about many issues around here due to its dynamics.

Maybe to organise week conference and stuff?

We could already, and without any investment, use irc,

Of course, we could definitely set up our own TOP channel, and possibly
an applet accessible from the wiki (does it exist technologically?)

I think skype can be fun at times, but I don't consider it really
productive.

I don't understand, it's always worked until now.

Well, it is not an applet I actually manage, I just happen to propose
it, me I use other much more complex to setup tools (irssi). I guess
your version of java is not compatible with the one required by the
our-constitution applet at
http://our-constitution.org/tiki-index.php?page=VirtualMeetUp

I would recommend using http://gaim.sf.net, it's real nice and open to
many a protocol.

Then server irc.freenode.net, channel #parlement. Charles managed to use
both the applet and gaim.

Had some problems with instalation, so I downloaded Mirc. Now I am
there.
Is anyone interested for chat? Emmanuel, Magnus, Eric, Markus?

Should we arange some meeting? This evening 21.00 central european
time?

I'm always on it, well, my server has a screen+irssi always on it and
I'm generally connected on it (via ssh). If I'm not, I generally set my
"away" state accordingly.
