Are the videos of the talks up anywhere?

As a speaker, I'm really interested in getting a copy of my talk. Someone pointed me at a company that recorded, but they are not returning my emails. Anyone have any suggestions?

The videos don't get posted automatically. You can buy a DVD of any of
them; if you're a speaker then they'll give your own to you for free
(at least on site).

If you want to post 'em, you have to do it yourself. AFAICT their
website (mediaarchives.com) isn't well maintained (if at all?), so the
best way to get it is IRL. On the up side, they're at most hacker
conferences in the US, and they don't care about copyright.

Well, since I didn't find out who had them until they left the site and they're not returning my email at all, do I have to go to another conference to get mine? Might as well have not been recorded at all. :-/

You could ask someone else to pick it up for you at the next
conference they're at?

Or actually get them to respond to email, but I've never tried that.

We received a copy of all of the talks and plan on ripping them and
posting them online in the near future. We might be able to get to
your video before the others if you want to see it soon, otherwise we
should have them all up in the next couple months.

OTOH: wasn't this the plan for Toorcamp '09? AFAIK only one or two
videos from that have been posted.

and missed many really good talks (as I found out afterwards). Please

Although I have a keen interest in having a copy of my talk soon, I don't need to have a copy for about 2 months when I'll be applying for jobs again.

How long will the talks take to get up?

SNELL.. vere are ze talk videos?? I wish to learn about farming and watch the run your own infrastructure rant. Surely somebody can rip these to a 1 bitcoin a month VPS with 100/100 "unlimited" and propagate the videos to everywhere right? Tried the media pplz page, it was last updated 2005 and the "new" page is 404 INCONCEIVABLE rarrrrr
