Also I need those kind of servo drives, servo parts, encoders, etc. Can anybody suggest some places to search for these?

Thats pretty rude Alex to turn up advertising on this forum for SSPS 102 servos knowing that im already looking for and asking for help from the Tokyo Hackspace in sourcing these very rare servo motors dont you think..

Having found my post here from google search engine etc knowing that i need them for the exact purpose as yourself.
is a dirty trick to play....

Richard

Those servos have proven quite hard to source by the way.

I have not noticed them in Akihabara, and had no luck searching some of the japanese auctions.

I think its totally fine for more than one person to ask for the same thing. Even if it is especially rare.

No one 'owns' rights to this forum, or the right to be 'first' or to 'call dibs' as we say in the USA.

We DO frown on:
* advertising/spam
* joining ONLY to ask us to shop for you
* being rude, regardless of who started it

As I said, unavailable parts. You will both have to move on.

I suggest you both hack/redesign the original projects to use the manufacturer's other servo, with similar specs. It is square rather than round, and shaft in center.

Mill an aluminum adaptor. You can then sell this aftermarket upgrade for profits!
