Hi,

Just wondering if anyone is planning to go to any of this weekend's events? I was thinking I'd check out the flea market in Akihabara tomorrow morning.
If I get time, I'd love to get to the Design Festa.
Anyone going to either?

What time does the flea close?  I am going to Akihabara but not until a bit later I have to go to the dermatologist tomorrow morning so he can look over his work from this morning.  Hoping to be in Akihabara around noon-ish.

10am-4pm, according to the UDX site. I'm thinking of getting there early, but give me a mail when you arrive!

Oh, let me know how the flea market is. I want to start selling stuff there to supplement hackers pace income.

The flea market was smallish.  Mostly figures clothing.  Saw a guitar amp and a few random electronic items, but nothing like a vendor you'd see at say make. Or MIT flea. Nothing to write home about IMO.

Looked like the people to talk to for selling would be the MOTTAINAI
page, there were a few volunteers with their jackets & clipboards
checking on things.
As James said, no electronics so I'm not sure if kits would sell.
There were a lot of used and new clothes, old toys, some crafts.
