Wasn't there a link on top of the website that said :SHOP?

I just realized I need to renew my membership.

There was, yeah. I think there still is, but it's hidden by the layout.
On the right menu there should be a choice for "shop catalogs"
or just go here:

Didn't think of it while you were paying for Kalin?

no, I had no idea... I did several bulk payments for membership, moving, shortfall etc. etc. and never kept track of it... I was counting on garret to remind me :)

I just checked the record of my orders in my account page and I am already one month short, sorry!!! fixing it right away.

and now PayPal: Unable to process payment. Please contact the merchant as the shipping address provided by the merchant is invalid, and the merchant has requested that your order must be shipped to that address.

weird.. it always worked smooth... well... I will try again later.

That message means that the address *you* gave to THS is not the same
address you gave to Paypal. If you have your previous records you can
check to see the "shipping address".

According to MRE, anyway. Good luck with it. I tried checking our
Paypal settings a couple months ago and ran away crying, it's not
pretty.

yep... I changed nothing myself, not in PayPal nor in my THS account... I will verify if something changed itself later, after all skynet should be already operative by now.

The drupal shopping cart sucks. We should probably look into switching it
out for Magento or Zencart.

I checked and double checked... info seems to match.
and I am sure I did change nothing in both my THS and PayPal account....
it used to work right until early June, when I did last payment.

can I just manually send money to kimon...@gmail.com from my PayPal and enter THS membership 3 months renewal in the msg box?
I can add a 1000 extra for the expenses.. it is still easier that come up with cash

That works too. It will show up on the notice as a payment to
"Sapphire restaurant management group". If you need a paper receipt,
let someone know next time you're at a meeting.

Paypal Japan recently (about two weeks ago) changed their policy and
accounts have to be verified now ... I don't think they even sent an
email! Lots of confused people. It might be the reason.

First time I've heard of this, do you have a citation somewhere? I
didn't have any trouble this week with a different paypal transaction.
Maybe I got verified without realizing it.
Still, not changing the error message given is kind of a dick move
regardless of policy changes...

No... I just heard about it as there was Rails event and lots of
people ran into issues. So I could be mistaken!
